Snowy weather procedures:

During snowy weather, I let teachers make their own decisions if they’d like to come to the studio or teach from home. Since we all drive from different locations and different times, road conditions can be vastly different. Please try your best to be here, but if road conditions are too bad, I don’t want you risking it. Please use your best judgement.

During days you’re teaching from home, families have a few options

  • Zoom lesson

  • Short lesson (about 15 minutes, more of a check in) and recap video sent later. This is a great option for young students who may have trouble focusing for a half hour on Zoom.

  • Lesson video (if the student was planning to be absent anyway or if requested by parent. This should be the last resort and only if the parent requests it)

Note :When the weather is snowy and you’re teaching in-person lessons at the studio. You may have students opt for an online lesson. Be sure to check your texts/emails if you have someone not show up as they may be wanting an online lesson.
